Disable an Alert Bar

Disable the Alert Bar for an Alert Center category when you no longer want alerts from that category to display as a banner on your site. You can re-enable the Alert Bar at any time if needed.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site.

  2. Navigate to Modules, click Content, and select Alert Center:

  3. Select the category that has the alert bar enabled:

  4. Click Actions for the category:

  5. Select Modify:

  6. Navigate to the Show Alert Bar section. Select the Disabled radio button:

  7. Click the Save Changes button:
