Embed a CivicMedia Video onto a Page

This article will show you how to embed a video from a CivicMedia Channel onto a page on your site.

Important Notes:

• The Embed Code for CivicMedia videos will always need to be placed in a Custom HTML widget to render properly.

• If the Embed Code was added into an Editor Widget, you will have to re-copy the code from the module. The code cannot be copied from the Editor Widget as the editor strips the needed code.

Who can use this feature?

Instructions

1. Sign in to your site

2. Obtain the CivicMedia Embed Code for your desired video

3. Navigate to the page on your site that you want to add your video to ensure that Is On

4. Add a Custom HTML Widget to your page

5. Paste the CivicMedia Embed Code inside the Custom HTML textbox

6. Click Done

7. Save your page

8. View your page in preview mode and view your video

   Note: You cannot play your video in Live Edit because if you click on the play button, you will just be directed to the custom HTML textbox again.
