HD Wave Broadcasting Hardware Requirements

Prev Next

HD (High-Definition) Wave broadcasting requires a modern PC (Personal Computer) running a Windows 10, 8, or 7 Operating System (OS) or a Macintosh OS starting with version 10.7.

If you want to capture the desktop, you will need a machine that is at least as powerful as the examples given in the Minimum Broadcasting Requirements section for the 1080p (progressive) and 720p broadcasts.

If you wish to stream an external video source (from a capture card or camera), then the following PC requirements apply based on the video source you would like to stream.

TikiLive also supports the BlackMagic Atem Studio.

Important Note:

The HD Wave is no longer supported on Windows XP as an out-of-date operating system. TikiLive suggests using Windows 7 or higher to broadcast.
