Make a Default Message

Default Messages are the alerts the public receives through email or SMS text message when new agendas are posted to the public site, once someone has signed up for Notify Me®.

You can change the default message for the category or the Module. If you change the module’s default message, it will not affect any existing category.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules. Click on Content, then Notify Menav to notify me

  3. Select Message DefaultsMessage Defaults

  4. Make the changes to your default message notifyme

    • HTML Message (Welcome, Header, Footer): Create a message in HTML format

      • Note:

        Click Copy HTML to Text to directly paste the content of the HTML message into your text message.

    • Text (Welcome, Header, Footer): View what the HTML will look like in a regular message

  5. Select Save save edits
