Mark a Field as Internal Use Only

Internal Fields allows comments to be added by back-end users to a form submission. The field is not seen by front-end users when filling out the form.

Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner | Publisher

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules, then Content, and then Form Center:A navigation menu highlighting the Form Center option in the Municipal Websites Central interface.

  3. Select your desired Category:The Form Center module with a single category highlighted for selection.

  4. Select your desired Form:The Form Center within the Bid Submission Forms category with the Bid Submission Form highlighted.

  5. Click on an existing field or drag-and-drop a field type onto your form:The Form Center module with a field highlighted for selection.

  6. Navigate to the Advanced tab in the field type editor:The Advanced tab of a field in the Form Center is highlighted.

  7. Enable Internal use only:The Internal Use Only checkbox is highlighted on the Advanced tab of a Field in the Form Center.

  8. Click Save Changes:The Save Changes button of the Advanced tab for a field in the Form Center is highlighted.

  9. Click Save:The Save button for a form in the Form Center.
