Modify an Agenda

This article will show you how to modify an Agenda in the Agenda Center.

Important Note:

Items cannot be added to uploaded PDF Agendas.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Agenda CenterAgenda Center option in Modules menu.

  3. Select your desired categoryAgenda Category.

  4. Select the Agendas tab Agendas tab.

  5. Click Actions next to the Agenda you want to modify Agenda actions button.

  6. Select ModifyModify option in dropdown.

  7. Modify the Agenda's fields Modify agenda fields.

    • Meeting Date: Enter a date for the meeting

    • Override Posted Date and Time: Specify a date and time. If blank, the actual publish date and/or time will be used.

      • Warning: Some state laws may require that this not be altered.

    • Description: Provide a brief description

    • Link to Media (optional): Paste a link to external or Media Center media

      • Open in new window: Select to open the link in a new window

    • Media Type: Indicate whether the media is Video or Audio

    • Agenda: Drag and drop agenda items onto the agenda

  8. Choose a saving option at the top of the page Save agenda buttons.

    • Save: Save as a draft

    • Save and Send: Save and send a notification

    • Save and Add to Calendar: Save and add the Agenda Event to your calendar

  9. Click Show as Amended or Don't Show as AmendedAmended options.

    • Show as Amended: Makes the amended date show on the front end; adds a previous version to the history

    • Don't Show as Amended: Keeps the agenda for the published date; adds a previous version to the history
