Remove Flagged Comments

This article will show you how to remove a flagged comment in Community Voice.

Important Notes:

  • Either the Owner or the System Administrator can review the post or discussion, and the comments from the public, as to why it was flagged, and remove or un-flag the comments.

  • Flagged items will remain visible to the public until they are removed.

  • Community Voice also has an Inappropriate Word filter that appears under Site Properties. If the post has an inappropriate word in it, the system will prevent the post from being saved and let the user know they are using language that is not permitted on the site. Who can use this feature?

System Administrator | Owner

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to the Community Voice page (yoursiteURL/CommunityVoice) Community Voice Front end view.

  3. Select the relevant InitiativeSelect initiative.

  4. Select the relevant IdeaSelect idea.

  5. Navigate to the flagged comment and click Remove Remove comment.

    • Flagged as Inappropriate: View the reason why the comment was flagged.

    • Unflag: Remove the flag and mark the comment as Appropriate.

  6. Fill in a Reason for Removing and click Remove CommentReason for removal.
