Remove the Modified Tag of a Bid Posting

If you need to update anything on an existing bid and you want to send out the email, the subject of the email will say that it's "modified”. To keep it from being listed as modified, you must unpublish the posting before making modifications.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules and on the Content tab, select Bid Postings:The expanded Modules menu, with the Bid Postings module selected.

  3. Find the category the bid is under:A list of published Bid Posting categories, with one highlighted.

  4. Select Choose an Action and then View List:A published category's Action menu, with 'View List' selected.

  5. Find the bid that has the tag, select Choose an Action, and then Unpublish:A bid item's Action menu, with its 'Unpublish' option selected.

  6. Modify the bid posting

  7. On the Bids pop-up box, remove the Modified part of the Subject:The Bids pop-up message, with 'Modified' highlighted in the Subject field.

  8. Choose to Send, Don't Send, or Cancel:The pop-up Bids message with its send options highlighted.

    • On Start Date: Sends the notification on the start date previously set

    • Immediately: Sends the notification immediately

    • Send, Don’t Send, or Cancel: The notification will then be sent accordingly to those who have signed up in Notify Me for the selected Bids category
