Restore a Page

System Administrator | Owner

Important Note:

Restoring a page does not publish it. The page will be in draft status and must be manually published.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Select the s dropdown, on the Content tab, select PagesModules menu with Pages selected.

  3. Select Go to Archives on the right Go to Archives button.

  4. Set the Filters in the right column to narrow down your search Archive Filters.

    • Keywords: Search for terms associated with the page

    • Archived: Choose when the page was archived

    • Display: Click to display only the latest revision; do not check to include all revisions

    • Reason: Choose a reason the page was archived

  5. Click Apply to apply the search filters Apply button.

  6. Click Actions next to the page you wish to restore Actions button.

  7. Select Restore Restore button.

  8. Choose to Restore to Original Page or Restore to a Different Page The Restore to Original Page and Restore to a Different Page buttons in the pop up modal.

    Note: Use a Different Page if you want to copy information to a different page. This is useful if you want to copy the layout of a page to a new page on the site

  9. The restored page will be in Draft status. Click Save and Publish to publish it The Save and Publish button.
