Restore a Page

Important Note:

Restoring a page does not publish it. The page will be in draft status and must be manually published.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site.

  2. Select the Modules menu, on the Content tab, select Pages:Navigation menu showing various modules, including the highlighted 'Pages' option.

  3. Select the Go to Archives button: Manage website pages and access archives through the highlighted options on the interface. The go to archives button is highlighted.

  4. Set the Filters in the right column to narrow down your search: A page management interface displaying filters and archives for published and hidden pages.

    • Keywords: Search for terms associated with the page

    • Archived: Choose when the page was archived

    • Display: Click to display only the latest revision; do not check to include all revisions

    • Reason: Choose a reason the page was archived

  5. Click Apply to apply the search filters: Overview of page archives with filters and actions for managing published and hidden pages. The apply button is highlighted.

  6. Click Actions next to the page you wish to restore: Overview of pages with actions for managing published and archived content. The actions button is highlighted.

  7. Select Restore: A webpage displaying archived pages with a highlighted restore option.

  8. Choose to Restore to Original Page or Restore to a Different Page: Button options to restore a previous version of a page are displayed in the dialog box.

    Note:

    Use a Different Page if you want to copy information to a different page. This is useful if you want to copy the layout of a page to a new page on the site

  9. The restored page will be in Draft status. Click the Save and Publish button to publish it: A draft version of the pet registration page with save and publish options highlighted.
