Set Default View Preferences in CivicMedia

This article will show you how to change the default view options for CivicMedia.

Important Note:
CivicMedia is a legacy feature. All sales after September 30, 2025, will have our new CivicPlus Video feature. If you currently use CivicMedia and are interested in upgrading to CivicPlus Video, please contact your Account Manager for more information.
Any changes made in View Options will not affect these default settings.

Who can use this feature?
System Administrator

Instructions

Sign in to your site
Navigate to Modules > Content > CivicMedia
Select the Settings (gear) icon
Set the Default View Options
- Sort Videos By
  - Manual Order: Display videos in the order you set
  - Status: Display videos by their status
- Display Videos
  - Published: Display videos that are published
  - Draft: Display draft videos
  - Pending: Display videos that are pending
  - Expired: Display expired videos
  - Submitted: Display videos that have been submitted
  - Declined: Display declined videos
  - Encoding: Display encoded videos
  - Error: Display videos with an error
- Display Channels
  - Published: Display published channels
  - Draft: Display draft channels
  - Submitted: Display submitted channels
  - Declined: Display declined channels
- Results Per Page: Choose to view 25, 50, 100, or 200 photos per page
Select Save Changes
