Settings in CivicSend

This article will detail and explain all settings options in CivicSend.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to Modules, and on the Content tab, select CivicSend:CivicPlus Municipal Websites Central interface showing navigation from modules to content to CivicSend.

    • Enable Text Message Channel: Allows Users to send a message using text message

    • Enable Facebook Channel: Allows users to post a message on Facebook

    • Enable Twitter Channel: Allows users to send a message on Twitter

    • Enable Font Options for CivicSend: You can choose to enable the use of custom font size, font family, and font color options in CivicSend. All toolbars in new and saved templates will show these options. Existing template content will not be changed. The checkbox will be checked by default if the site has the site-wide font options currently enabled.

    • Copyright Text: Each template-based message will include copyright text in the footer of your message. You can customize the copyright text to be specific to your organization.

    • Physical Address Text: Each template-based message will include your organization’s physical address in the footer of your message. You can edit this text anytime.

    • Sender Names: You can customize the Sender Name that appears in the email recipient’s inbox and as a part of a text message. You can define as many Sender Names as you’d like. You will be prompted to select a Sender Name using a dropdown menu when you’re creating a message. A recognizable Sender Name will increase recipient engagement with your communication.
