This article will show you how to take your Department Header Package (DHP) live.

Instructions

  1. Make sure the globals for your new DHP have been either added to the new DHP page or exist under the current department section

  2. Navigate to Modules > Site Tools > Site MapThe Modules dropdown, then Site Tools in the left-hand navigation, then the Site Map URL.

  3. Expand the sections you need by clicking on the arrow to the left of the page title The section expansion toggles.

  4. Find the department that will be getting the DHP A Department URL in the list of pages.

  5. Find the new DHP in the Feature Links section A link in the Feature Links section.

  6. Drag the new DHP landing page up to sit right above the current department landing page on the site map The department dragged and dropped.

  7. Move subpages of the current department to be subpages of the new DHP using the site map drag and drop functionality Subpages listed in the site map.

  8. To verify that the globals are pulling the correct DHP layout, click to open each global page A URL in the site map.

  9. Navigate to the Layout tab and ensure the Layout is set to Interior and the Theme and Banners match the DHP The Layout drop down menu, set to Interior, and the Theme and banner drop downs.

  10. Click Save Layout ChangesThe Save Layout Changes button.

  11. Repeat steps 8-10 for each global

  12. Navigate to the DHP landing page The URL for the DHP.

  13. On the Properties tab, uncheck the Hidden option The Properties tab, and the Hidden checkbox toggle.

  14. Click Save Page ChangesThe Save Page Changes button.

  15. Open the old department page A URL in the site map.

  16. On the Properties tab, check the Hidden option and add "Do Not Delete" to the Menu TextThe Properties tab, Menu Text text entry field, and the Hidden checkbox toggle.

  17. Click Save Page ChangesThe Save Page Changes button.

  18. On the old page, select Add New Version and create a linked page to the new DHP The Add Version button.

  19. Navigate back to your DHP landing page and check that the department global settings are showing up in the global section A global mega menu.

  20. Update layout for mega menus, if applicable

  21. Navigate back to the site map and move the old page to Feature LinksA URL in the site map.

    Note:

    Refresh the page to make sure you're moving the correct page and not the new DHP
