Use TikiLive to Update a Video's Thumbnail

This article will show you how to use TikiLive to update the thumbnail of one of your existing CivicMedia videos.

Important Notes:

CivicMedia is a legacy feature. All sales after September 30, 2025, will have our new CivicPlus Video feature. If you currently use CivicMedia and are interested in upgrading to CivicPlus Video, please contact your Account Manager for more information.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the TikiLive website

2. Click the Log In button:

3. Enter your Username and Password, then click the Login button:

   • To find your TikiLive login information, navigate to Broadcast a Live Video in your CivicMedia module and view the Sign-In Credentials:

4. Navigate to the Account Dashboard:

5. Select the Published Videos tab, click Edit next to the video you want to change the thumbnail on:

6. Locate the Video Thumbnail field and select Browse or Grab Screen:

   • Browse: Upload a new photo from your computer

   • Grab Screen: Select a frame from the video

7. Choose to Crop Video Thumbnail:

8. Select Update Details:

   Note:

   The new thumbnail may take up to 24 hours to update on the site. Your content goes here
