This article will show you how to broadcast a Live Video.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your website solution

  2. Navigate to the CivicMedia™ module:
    The expanded Modules menu, with the CivicMedia™ module selected.

  3. Select Broadcast Now!:The 'Broadcast Now!' button highlighted in the CivicMedia™ module's back end.

  4. If needed, download the HD Wave Broadcaster for either Windows or Mac:The 'Broadcast Now!' page with download options for the HD Wave Broadcaster.

    Note:

    Step 3 on this pop-up screen contains your Username and Password to enter the HD Wave Broadcaster. Take note of these credentials.

  5. Follow the HD Wave Broadcaster prompts to download and open the application

  6. Enter your Username and Password:The 'Username' and 'Password' fields in the HD Wave Broadcaster interface.

  7. Click Log Me In:The 'Log Me In' button on the HD Wave Broadcaster's sign in screen.

  8. Use the Channel dropdown menu to select the channel to broadcast on:A 'City Council Meetings' channel highlighted in the Channel field.

  9. Check Send Video and Send Audio to broadcast video and/or audio:The 'Send Video' and 'Send Audio' options, highlighted and enabled.

    Note:

    Do not check the boxes if you do not want to broadcast one or both of these.

  10. Check Save to File and determine a location to save the broadcast file after broadcasting:The 'Save to File' option, highlighted and unchecked.

  11. Click the Start Broadcast button:The 'Start Broadcast' button highlighted in the HD Wave Broadcaster interface.

    Note:

    Once the broadcast starts, you will see it live as the first video in the channel you selected.
