Create and Manage Key Links

Add a Key Link

  1. Expand the Administration Tools on the Dashboard The large box labeled Administration with a plus sign.

  2. Click Manage Key Links The hyperlink labeled Manage Key Links.

  3. Click Add Link The button labeled Add link with a plus sign.

  4. Title the linkThe text entry field labeled Menu link title.

  5. Enter the URL the Link will direct toThe text entry field labeled Link.

  6. Check the Enabled boxThe checkbox to the left of the word Enabled.

  7. Complete the remaining Key Link fields as desired

  8. Click Save

Edit a Key Link

  1. Expand the Administration Tools on the Dashboard The large box labeled Administration with a plus sign.

  2. Click Manage Key Links The hyperlink labeled Manage Key Links.

  3. Click Edit or the desired Key Link The button labeled Edit.

  4. Edit the Key Link Fields as desired

  5. Click Save

Enable or Disable a Key Link

  1. Expand the Administration Tools on the Dashboard The large box labeled Administration with a plus sign.

  2. Click Manage Key Links The hyperlink labeled Manage Key Links.

  3. Check or uncheck the box in the Enabled column The checkbox in the column labeled Enabled.

  4. Click Save

Delete a Key Link

  1. Expand the Administration Tools on the Dashboard The large box labeled Administration next to a plug sign.

  2. Click Manage Key LinksThe hyperlink labeled Manage Key Links.

  3. Expand the Action Menu The downward pointing arrow to the right of the word Edit.

  4. Click Delete The button labeled Delete.

  5. Click Delete to confirm deletion The large button labeled Delete.

    Note:

    This action cannot be undone

Key Link Fields

The text entry fields and options for Key Links.

  • Menu Link Title: The title of the Link

  • Link: The URL this link points to

  • Enabled: Check the box to enable this Key Link; uncheck to disable

  • Description: A brief description of the link that appears on mouseover

  • Show as expanded: If selected and this menu link has children, the menu will always appear expanded

  • Select parent menu item: The Link under which this Link will appear

  • Weight: Determines the Link weight among links in the same menu. Links with high weight will sink towards the bottom, and links with low weight will be positioned nearer the top.
