Create and Manage Standard Locations

Create a Standard Location

  1. Expand Create Other
    The button labeled Create Other with a plus sign icon.

  2. Click Create Standard Location The button labeled Create Standard Location.

  3. Complete the Location Information fields

  4. Publish the Standard Location

    Note:

    A Standard Location must be published to appear as an option in any Standard Location drop-down

  5. Click Save
    The Save button.

Edit a Standard Location

  1. Navigate to the page

  2. Click Edit
    The Edit button.

  3. Edit the Location Information fields as necessary

  4. Publish or Unpublish the Standard Location as necessary

  5. Click Save
    The Save button.

Copy a Standard Location

  1. Navigate to the page

  2. Click Clone
    The Clone button.

  3. Edit the Location Information fields as necessary

  4. Publish the Standard Location

    Note:

    A Standard Location must be published to appear as an option in any Standard Location drop-down

  5. Click Save
    The Save button.

View Standard Location Revisions

  1. Navigate to the page

  2. Click Revisions
    The Revisions button.

  3. View the list of previous revisions

Revert a Standard Location to a Previous Version

  1. Navigate to the page

  2. Click Revisions
    The Revisions button.

  3. Select Revert to revert the Standard Location page to a previous version
    The Revert button in the Operations column.

  4. Select Revert to confirm the revision
    The large Revert button.

Publish or Unpublish a Standard Location

  1. Navigate to the page

  2. Click Edit
    The Edit button.

  3. Select the Publishing tab The left-hand navigation tab labeled Publishing.

  4. Complete the Publishing options The date and time fields labeled Publish on and Unpublish on.

    • Published: Check or uncheck the box to publish or unpublish, respectively

    • Publish On: Select a date and time to publish the event at a later date

    • Unpublish On: Select a date and time to automatically unpublish the event

  5. Click Save
    The Save button.

Delete a Standard Location

Important Note

Only Site Admins can perform this function. This action cannot be undone, and the page cannot be recovered. It is recommended that a page be unpublished rather than deleted.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the desired page

  2. Click Edit

  3. Click Delete

  4. Click Delete to confirm the deletion

    Note:

    This action cannot be undone

Location Information Fields

The Location Information text entry fields.

  • Title: Enter the title of the location The text entry field labeled Title.

  • Address The Country dropdown, and the Street address, City, State, and Zip code text entry fields beneath the Address header.

    • Country: Select the appropriate country from the dropdown

    • Street address: Enter the street address of the location

    • City: Enter the city in which the address is located

    • State: Enter the state the address is located in

    • Zip code: Enter the zip code in which the address is located

  • Use Above Address: Click this button to create a map pin for the manually entered address The button labeled Use Above Address in the top left corner of the map.

  • Use Pin Location: Manually place a pin on the map and click this button to generate an address for the manually placed pin The button labeled Use Pin Location, in the top left corner of the map, to the right of the button labeled Use Above Address.

  • Location The Latitude and Longitude text fields beneath the Location header.

    • Latitude: Enter the latitude of the address, if known

      Note:

      The latitude will automatically adjust to any locations that are selected on the map.

    • Longitude: Enter the longitude of the address, if known

      The longitude will automatically adjust to any locations that are selected on the map.
