Terms are the configuration options available for various features, such as Business Directories, Park Listings, Property Listings, and Projects. These terms can help categorize, track, and maintain different projects, bids, and initiatives within CivicEngage Open.
Create a Term
Expand the Administration Menu on the Dashboard

Click on the appropriate add-on manager
Example: Manage Amenities

Click Add Term

Name the Term

Complete the other Term fields as desired
Click Save

Edit a Term
Expand the Administration Menu on the Dashboard

Click on the appropriate add-on manager
Example: Manage Amenities

Click Edit next to the desired Term

Edit the Term fields as desired
Click Save

Delete a Term
Important Note
Only a Site Admin can delete items. Please be aware that this action cannot be undone.

Click on the appropriate add-on manager

Click on the Action Menu next to the desired Term

Click Delete

Click Delete to confirm

This action cannot be undone
Term Fields

Name: The name of the amenity
FA icon: The chosen Font Awesome icon
Note:
The FA icon field is only available for Amenities
Relations

Parent terms: The type of amenity
Weight: The weight assigned to the amenity
Note:
Terms are displayed in ascending order by weight
Revision log message: A brief description of any changes made
