Option to Extract PST Emails as PDFs
We’ve added a new step to the PST extraction flow in NextRequest to give agency staff more control over how emails are exported.
What’s New
When you extract PST files in RapidReview, you’ll now see a pop-up with a new option: “Extract PST emails as PDF files”.
Selecting this option will extract emails from PST files as PDF files instead of using the standard extraction behavior.
How it Works
The modal appears when you start an extraction that includes at least one PST file.
If you check Extract PST emails as PDF files, emails from PST files in that extraction will be converted to PDFs.
Your selection persists for the duration of your session. If you check the box once, it will stay checked the next time you open the pop-up in the same session.
For emails that contain both HTML and TXT content, we continue to prefer HTML, maintaining current behavior.
Note:
The PDF extraction option currently applies only to PST files. Other file types are not affected, even if they are included in the same extraction.
