Send an HCMS Notification

Users creating and updating HCMS content can send notifications to users who have subscribed to the relevant categories.

Important Notes

Instructions

  1. Make sure you have a Subscription List set up in Notifications with the applicable categories selected for the HCMS HCMS selected in the product drop-down on a notification list.

  2. Create a Form

  3. Navigate to the Builder tab

  4. Add a Switch Element and fill out the fields Settings for sending notifications, including options for default, required, and read-only.

    • Label: This is what will be displayed to the form users

    • Default On: Choose whether or not to have the switch toggled on by default

    • Required: Make the field required for submission

    • Read Only: Set the field to "read-only" for the user submitting the form

    • Show Conditionally: This option is used when you want the element to only be shown under a certain condition

  5. Click Save

  6. On the Workflow tab, add an HCMS Submission Event The HCMS Event Type selected on the Submission Events tab.

  7. Select the Switch element you just created from the Notification Element dropdown The Notification Element drop-down on the HCMS Submission Event.

  8. Select the same HCMS Categories as the ones on your Subscription List in step 1 Categories section highlighting 'Legal Notices' on the HCMS Submission Event.

  9. Click Save

  10. The form will now have a toggle option to send users notifications when a form with an HCMS integration is submitted or updated Form toggle option to send a notification.

    Note:

    Only users who are subscribed to the notification list for the specified HCMS category will receive notifications.
