In addition to completing an activity session set-up, creating a Program Period in which the program session will be available for registration, such as Fall 2022 or Spring 2022, can be used in the program rollover process in which staff rolls over programs each year to save time creating sessions for a new fiscal year.

When to Use
Program Periods can be applied to any session you wish and are helpful for program rollovers. These benefits can include:
Program periods can help staff rollover whole seasons and reveal the upcoming season’s activities to the public in one click
Program periods can create default registration dates for organizations that start the season’s registration on a set date. For example, all spring programs open for registration on February 1
Program rollover can help staff quickly Copy activity registrations from year to year
