Edit Contact Preferences

This article will show you how to edit the email and/or phone contact information for an Account as well as their preferences.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your solution

  2. If needed, select your Location

  3. Click the Accounts tab: The Accounts feature in Recreation Management's secondary navigation.

  4. In the Search box, enter the account's name, email, or username: The Account feature's Search box.

  5. Click the Search button: The Account feature's Search button.

  6. Locate the user in the list of results: A list of search results for 'Clara'.

  7. Click the User Profile button: The User Profile button is represented by a person icon.

  8. Under Account Actions, select Account Contact Preferences: The Account Contact Preferences adjusts the account's settings for opting in or opting out items.

  9. Click the Edit Contact Method button next to the contact method you want to update: The Edit Contact Method button lets users update an account's contact options.

    Note: In the account's list of Contact Preferences, you can turn a contact method's notification options on or off. If enabled, the user receives messages for:Notification Option checkboxes in a list of the user's Contact Preferences.

    • Courtesy Notices: Low-priority messages

    • Critical Announcements: Emergency or high-alert messages

    • Upcoming Events: Messages about future events

  10. Edit the contact method's preferences:

    • Type: Select Email or Mobile (phone): A Contact Method's Type field.

      • Email Options: A list of options for an Email contact method.

        • Email: The 's email address

        • Label: A name or additional information about the contact method

        • Notification Checkboxes: If enabled, the user receives messages for:

          • Courtesy Notices: Low-priority messages

          • Critical Announcements: Emergency or high-alert messages

          • Upcoming Events: Messages about future events

      • Mobile Options: A list of options for mobile Contact Methods.

        • Mobile Phone: The account owner's phone number

        • Label: A name or additional information about the contact method

        • Can receive text messages: If enabled, the user receives SMS messages to their mobile phone

        • Notification Checkboxes: If enabled, the user receives messages for:

          • Courtesy Notices: Low-priority messages

          • Critical Announcements: Emergency or high-alert messages

          • Upcoming Events: Messages about future events

  11. Click the Save Contact Method button: Save any changes made to the Contact Method.
