Enable Public Reservation Cancellations

This article shows you how to turn on Public Reservation Cancellations for a facility. You can also establish Cancellation Fees in Financial Settings.

Important Note:

  • Internal staff will not get an email when a public user cancels their reservation online.

  • You can allow public cancellations even if the facility needs staff approval. This also works if the facility is set to view only for online reservations.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Facilities, then to Facility Listfacilities - facility list

  2. Expand a Locationexpand location

  3. Choose a Facility to edit edit facility

  4. Navigate to Rental Optionsrental options

  5. Check Allow Public Cancellationsallow public cancellations

  6. If needed, set up a Cancellation Time Frame cancellation time frame

    Note:

    This setting adds a time limit to the cancellation policy for public user refunds. Public users will not be able to get a refund if they cancel within the set number of days.

  7. Click Save Facilitysave facility
