This article shows you how to turn on Public Reservation Cancellations for a facility. You can also establish Cancellation Fees in Financial Settings.
Important Note:
Internal staff will not get an email when a public user cancels their reservation online.
You can allow public cancellations even if the facility needs staff approval. This also works if the facility is set to view only for online reservations.
Instructions
Navigate to Facilities, then to Facility List
Expand a Location
Choose a Facility to edit
Navigate to Rental Options
Check Allow Public Cancellations
If needed, set up a Cancellation Time Frame
Note:
This setting adds a time limit to the cancellation policy for public user refunds. Public users will not be able to get a refund if they cancel within the set number of days.
Click Save Facility
