Allow Public Rental Adjustments

The Allow Public Rental Adjustments option lets public users adjust their reservation(s) at a facility. You can also create a Public Adjustment/Cancellation fee.

Important Note:

  • Internal staff will not get an email when a public user changes their reservation online.

  • You cannot make a Public Rental Adjustment if the reservation has a discount applied.

  • To let public users make rental adjustments, you must Allow Online Reservations for the facility:Allow online reservations under the Rental Options tab.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Facilities, and then to Facility ListUse the Left Menu to click the Facility List under the Facility Tab.

  2. Expand a LocationUse the Plus icon to expand the location options.

  3. Choose a Facility to edit Use the pencil icon to edit a facility.

  4. Navigate to Rental OptionsRental options tab.

  5. Make sure the Online Rental Mode is set to Allow Online ReservationsAllow online reservations under the Rental Options tab.

  6. Check Allow Public Rental AdjustmentsAllow public rental adjustments field box.

  7. If needed, set a Rental Adjustment Time FrameRental adjustment time field box.

    Note:

    This will attach a time frame restriction to the rental adjustment policy for the public user. Public users will not be able to adjust reservations within the specified number of days.

  8. Click Save FacilitySave facility button.
