Merge Duplicate Accounts

If you have duplicate accounts, this article will tell you how to merge their information.

Important Notes:

  • The two account holders must match. So, if one is just the child and the other is the whole family, you first have to add the parent to the account with just the child and merge the two parents. Then the child will appear twice on the whole family account. Then you just merge the two children on the family account and keep the family account. If you just merge the children the history will not go too.

  • Only documents associated with the user you choose to keep will be available within the new merged account. However, any documents that were associated with the account that were not kept still exist in the system. These documents can be accessed within the account that was not kept by unmerging the accounts.

Instructions

  1. Log in to Recreation Management

  2. Search and select one of the accountsNavigation Accounts tab Search bar and Search Button highlighted.

  3. Select Merge for the user you want to merge accounts with Account details, including status and member information highlighting the Merge Icon.

  4. Search and Select the other user account User merge interface showing Search and Select buttons.

    Note:

    Be sure all accounts have the same account holder. If the account holder does not show on all accounts they must be added and assigned as the account holder.

  5. Click Select next to the user you wish to keep User selection interface for merging accounts, highlighting the select option for the user you want to keep.

    Note:

    Decide on the most recent account and update the name.

  6. Select Confirm MergeConfirmation screen for merging users, highlighting potential data loss for the unselected user.

  7. You will see a Merge complete note when the accounts have successfully merged User merge confirmation for account with a completion message displayed.
