Pay on Behalf of Another User

This article will show you how to use the Catalog function in Account Actions to pay on behalf of another user.

Important Note:

When you pay on behalf of another user, it becomes more difficult to process the refund because you have to add the user to the payee's account to process a full refund.

Instructions

  1. Log in to Recreation Management

  2. Use the Search bar and select your desired user Rec Account Use the Search bar and select your desired user

  3. Under Account Actions Click Catalog  Select the catalog line item under Account Actions

  4. Select an item to check out select an item to check out

  5. Click the Add To Cart button click the add to cart button

  6. Click Checkout click the checkout button

  7. Fill out any Prompts or Waivers (will vary, depending on the activity/event)

  8. Choose a payment method under Add Payment add payment

  9. Use the Payer Account search bar to search for and select the account you want to use to pay for the transaction Rec Catalog Cart Checkout Payer Account

  10. Click the Complete Transaction button click the complete transaction button

  11. View the Transaction Receipt Review the receipt
