Public SSO Logging in For a First Time as a Pre-Existing User

This article covers logging in using Public Single Sign-on for the first time as a pre-existing user. This process involves a confirmation email to reset your password.

Instructions

  1. Visit the Public Page

  2. Click the red Log in with Email button in the upper left corner  CivicPlus Login In With Email.png

  3. Enter the email associated with your account and click the Continue button  Public SSO Email Continue button.png

  4. Enter a Password and click the Sign in button  Public SSO Enter password and sign in button.png

  5. The system will email you a confirmation email

  6. Check your email and open the email with the subject Confirm your email from [email protected] Public SSO Confirmation Email.png

  7. Click the Validate Account button on the red URL Public SSO Confirmation email Validate Account button.png

  8. Enter your email and choose a new password, then click Reset Public SSO reset password.png

  9. Once you see the Email Confirmed message, click the option to Sign in. This will take you back to the public page where you can sign in using your new account credentials.
