Public SSO Logging in For a First Time as a Pre-Existing User

This article covers logging in using Public SSO for the first time as a pre-existing user. This process involves a confirmation email to reset your password.

Instructions

  1. Visit the Public Page

  2. Click the red Log in with Email button in the upper left corner  CivicPlus recreation management platform login page with the login with email button highlighted.

  3. Enter the email associated with your account and click the Continue button  Sign-in form with email input and highlighting the continue button for user login button.

  4. Enter a Password and click the Sign in button  Sign-in page with fields for email and password, plus a sign-in button.

  5. The system will email you a confirmation email

  6. Check your email and open the email with the subject Confirm your email from noreply@civicplus.com Email from CivicPlus Platform showing noreply email address and recipient details.

  7. Click the Validate Account button on the red URL Email confirmation for account validation with a prominent button to validate account.

  8. Enter your email and choose a new password, then click Reset Password reset form with email, password, and confirmation fields highlighted for user guidance.

  9. Once you see the Email Confirmed message, click the option to Sign in. This will take you back to the public page where you can sign in using your new account credentials.
