Add Automatic Subscribers to Request Categories

Owners can add organizational members as automatic subscribers whenever a request is submitted to a specific category. Subscribers will receive all the "assignee notifications" as outlined in the Email Notifications article.

Important Notes

  • Removing a member from an account removes their auto-subscription and existing subscriptions. Adding the same member back restores subscriptions.

  • Adding a user as an Automatic Subscriber will not assign the request to them. View information on how to create Automations and set users to be the automatic assignee.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to the Profile menu, then select Manage OrganizationThe Profile menu with the Manage Organization option highlighted.

  3. Select Request CategoriesRequest Categories tab.

  4. Select the category title Category title.

  5. Use the Automatic Subscribers dropdown to select members Automatic Subscribers dropdown menu.

  6. Select UpdateUpdate button.
