Add Automatic Subscribers to Request Categories

Owners can add organizational members as automatic subscribers whenever a request is submitted to a specific category. Subscribers will receive all the "assignee notifications" as outlined in the Email Customization article.

Important Notes

  • Removing a member from an account removes their auto-subscription and existing subscriptions. Adding the same member back restores subscriptions.

  • Adding a user as an Automatic Subscriber will not assign the request to them. View information on how to create Automations and set users to be the automatic assignee.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to the Profile menu, then select Manage Organization:The User Profile dropdown menu with the Manage Organization option highlighted.

  3. Select Request Categories:The Requests section with the Request Categories option highlighted.

  4. Select the category title:The Request Categories screen with a category highlighted for selection.

  5. Use the Automatic Subscribers drop-down menu to select members:The Subscriptions and Benchmarks section with the Automatic Subscribers drop-down field highlighted.

  6. Select Update:An individual Request Category screen with the Update button highlighted.
