ArcGIS Maps in Mobile Apps
After extensive testing, we are ready to release ArcGIS maps within mobile apps. New maps will be released within container apps today, and we are set to do a bulk release for marketplace apps in January.
To ensure your app is included in bulk release, you will need to meet the following requirements:
Acceptance of the newest terms of agreement from Google and Apple if needed
Ensure you have provided us with your newest privacy policy that meets Google standards
This enhancement will provide the following:
More detailed maps
Standardized satellite toggle
Zoom feature
Improved “locate me” icon
Parity of map functions between mobile apps and web
Alignment of geocoding and look-up
