Delete a Watch Area

Watch areas can be created by anyone and notify anyone. If you are receiving notifications about issues within a Watch Area, and you want to unsubscribe from those, you can simply delete the watch area.

Who can create Watch Areas?

All users can access this feature.


What is a Watch Area?

A Watch Area is a way for anyone to be notified when issues are reported or acted on which a specific area. This allows:

  • Users to stay involved in their communities

  • Elected officials to get a sense of what their residents are reporting


Delete a Watch Area

  1. Navigate to the SeeClickFix 311 CRM website and log in

  2. Navigate to My Content: CRM User menu showing user options including 'My Content' and logout.

    1. Click on your profile icon

    2. Select the My Content option

  3. Click on the Watch Areas tab: Navigation menu showing options like Preferences, Messages, and Watch Areas highlighted.

  4. Click the Edit button next to the Watch Area you wish to delete: CivicPlus Help Center listed under Watch Areas with creation time and settings icon.

  5. Select the Delete option: Watch Areas section displaying options to manage CivicPlus Help Center notifications with the Delete option highlighted.

  6. On the pop-up message that reads, "Are you sure you want to delete this watch area?", click the Ok button to confirm: Confirmation dialog asking to delete a watch area with options to confirm or cancel.
