Adding geographies to your government's SeeClickFix 311 CRM dashboard allows you to view, organize, and report on requests submitted within smaller subsets of your area, such as neighborhoods, council districts, police precincts, and others.

SeeClickFix 311 CRM has many pre-existing geographies that have already been created and are used to define Places within the SeeClickFix 311 CRM system. Before using this option, please consult with your organization's Geographical Information System (GIS) staff member.

Important Note

Uploading a Shapefile is the preferred method for managing geographies.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to the Profile menu and select Manage OrganizationThe Profile menu with the Manage Organization option highlighted.

  3. Select Geographies in the left-hand navigationGeographies tab.

  4. Click Import a PlaceImport a Place button.

  5. Select ChooseChoose button.

  6. Enter a location and hit EnterThe Enter a location field.

  7. Click Show Map to view a map of the location in a new tabShow Map button.

  8. Click Select to choose the locationSelect button.

  9. Click the Create buttonCreate button.
