Mark a Request as a Duplicate

Prev Next

Sometimes, more than one resident will submit the same request. To avoid duplicating efforts with staff in the field, you can merge Requests together into one.

You can mark a request as a duplicate within the Request List and Detail view.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to the Requests tabRequests tab.

  3. Check the request you'd like to mark as a duplicate of anotherDuplicate request checkbox.

  4. Select Mark as DuplicateMark as duplicate button.

  5. Enter the SeeClickFix 311 CRM request ID number for the request that is duplicatedDuplicate request ID number box.

    Note:

As you type the request ID into the field, SeeClickFix 311 CRM searches the database for matching numbers. Once a match is found, SeeClickFix 311 CRM displays some basic information about the Request. This provides an opportunity to confirm that this is the duplicate Request.

  6. Click UpdateUpdate button.

    Note:

The request that was marked as a duplicate of the other will automatically go into the Archived state (this can't be reopened).
