Merge Constituents

Often, constituents may have more than one profile in the organization. If this is noticed, call takers can merge constituent profiles in the Constituent tab.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your site

  2. Navigate to the Constituents tab: SCF Constituent tab.

  3. Search for the resident profiles and review details from each profile to ensure they are duplicates. Select the most outdated constituent profile first: SCF Constituent Search field.

  4. With the constituent profile open, click the Constituent Management Options button (the three vertical dots), then click Merge: SCF Constituent Management Options button.

  5. Select the search dropdown and search for the constituent you want to merge with: Merge Constituents Search field.

    Note:

    Keep in mind the system recognizes the Existing Constituent on the right as the most up-to-date. This means that the content in that profile will take precedence. If your constituent profiles happen to end up on the wrong side, you can always select Switch.

  6. Select Merge Constituents: Merge Constituents button.

  7. Click the Confirm button: Confirm Merge button.

    Note:

    Keep in mind that once constituent profiles have been merged, they cannot be unmerged.
