Each request in SeeClickFix 311 CRM has a Reporter tied to it and shows a specific display name. In this guide, we explain the different types of Display Names you may see. Generally, the Reporter shows the display name for the registered SeeClickFix 311 CRM user who submitted the request. The display name is the public name that the user has chosen for their registered SeeClickFix 311 CRM account. We do not display email addresses.
For certain circumstances, the SeeClickFix 311 CRM system generates automated user display names. Here is a quick overview of the different display names that may be shown.
Reporter’s Display Name
If a request was submitted through the New Request Form with an email address (provided that was an existing SeeClickFix 311 CRM User) or the user registers an account later, the display name will show (if the request was not submitted anonymously).
Anonymous SeeClickFix 311 CRM User
If a request is submitted by a user and the user selects the option to report anonymously, or if the request is submitted through the New Request Form and the option to report anonymously is selected, then the display name will be shown as “An Anonymous SeeClickFix 311 CRM User”. This user will still receive updates about the request.
Neighbor (Guest Reporter)
If a request is submitted without an email address, then the display name for the reporter will show as “Neighbor”. This is a guest reporter who has not registered an email address or an account with SeeClickFix 311 CRM. This request could have come in through the self-service Guest reporting option or the New Request Form when a caller does not provide an email address. This reporter will not receive any automatic updates about the request.
Registered Reporter
If a request is submitted through the New Request Form with an email address entered but the caller does not yet have a SeeClickFix 311 CRM account, then the display name for the reporter will show as “Registered Reporter”. This requester display name only shows if the anonymous selection was not chosen.
When a request is submitted on behalf of someone who does not have a SeeClickFix 311 CRM account, then the request triggers an email introducing SeeClickFix 311 CRM and inviting them to join the community.
