Use the Request Sidebar

The Request sidebar allows organization users to click on a request in the List View and quickly see all of its details in a sidebar on the right. By using the sidebar, users can take quick and common actions on a request, like adding a comment, assigning the request, changing the status, or printing the request without leaving the list view.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Requests tab:The CRM home page, with the Requests Tab highlighted.

  2. Select a request by clicking in the white space surrounding it:The home screen with a Pothole request highlighted for selection.

  3. View the sidebar:The Request information sidebar displaying request data and action buttons.

    • Change Status: Select to change the status of the request

    • Change Assignee: Choose a member to assign the request to

    • Add Comment: Add an internal or public comment

    • Print Request: Select to print the request

    • Description: Read a brief description of the request

    • Request Details: Review details for the request, such as the current status, category, address, assignee, priority, and due date

    • Full page view: If desired, select to see more information for the request

    • Comments: View all Public and Internal comments that have been made on the request

  4. To close, click the X (close) icon:Request Details sidebar view with the X icon (close button) highlighted.
