Connecting a TikTok Account to the Archive

This article will go over how to connect a TikTok Account to the archive for Account Owners and System Administrators.

Steps for Account Owners

1. Locate your initial email with a subject line similar to Social Media Archiving: Action Required - connect your social media accounts:

Steps for System Administrators

1. Sign in to your Archive

2. Navigate to the Configure tab:

3. Next to the appropriate Account Owner, click Connect Accounts:

4. Click Connect TikTok:

1. A pop-up will prompt you to log in to TikTok using a QR code, phone number/email address/username, or social login; choose your preferred login method:

   1. For the QR code option, you will be presented with steps to take on the mobile TikTok app to scan the QR code:

   2. Once you have scanned the QR code, it will appear inactive, and a checkmark will appear over it:

   3. Click the Confirm button on your mobile app to finish logging in:
