Social Media Activity Comparison

Prev Next

The Social Media Activity Comparison report shows how many messages an account sends and receives. It compares this activity across accounts over time. Outgoing records are messages sent by the account. Incoming records are messages received by the account. You can scope this report by date range and account.

Use this report to find accounts with strong engagement. A high number of incoming messages often means people are responding to the account's posts. A low number of incoming messages may mean an account is not getting much response, even if it posts often. You can also use this report to find accounts with no outgoing activity for a period of time. This may mean the account is no longer active. This makes the report a helpful tool for cleaning up old social media accounts.
