InfoSend Integration

Utility Billing has an integration to InfoSend, which provides the ability to outsource printing, envelope-stuffing, and mailing services, which enables you to serve residents who request paper bills.

Setup Requirements

You will need to work with your InfoSend account manager and your CivicPlus implementation consultant to create an invoice template that meets InfoSend requirements. Some of those requirements include:

  • Paper size must be 8.5inches by 11 inches

  • Perforation lines to be 3.5 or 3.75 inches from the bottom of the document

  • The left margin must be 1/2 inch

  • The address must fit inside envelope windows

How the Integration Works

You will need to use our HTML PDF template process to create your mailings. In your billing cycle operations, after you generate invoices, you will click ‘Send to Infosend’. This will merge all PDFs from that billing cycle into one PDF and SFTP the file to InfoSend. InfoSend will process the file to print and to fill envelopes.

Instructions

  1. Sign In to Utility Billing

  2. Click on Operations
    Operations tab.

  3. Select the cycle you want to generate invoices for

  4. Click Send To InfoSend

    Note:

    A toast notification stating the progress of the PDF merge will appear. The time it takse to complete the merge depeneds on the size and number of PDFs.

  5. A success notification will appear when the PDF merge is complete
