Query Actions

The Query Actions menu allows users to create multiple or recurring events or export queries.

Export Query

  1. Filter and select a Query

  2. Click Query Actions
    Query Actions button in the Query tab.

  3. Click Excel Export
    Excel Export button in the Query Actions menu.

Event Spray

Event Spray is a way to apply the same event across multiple assets simultaneously

Instructions

  1. Filter and select a Query

  2. Click Query Actions
    Query Actions button in the Query tab.

  3. Click Event Spray
    Event Spray Query Action button.

  4. Select an Event Type
    Event Types modal.

    Note:

    The Event Types available change based on the asset class selected.

  5. Complete the Event Type’s fields

    Note:

    The input fields available vary based on the Event Type selected.

    • Identification Details:

      • Name: Enter a name for the event or leave blank to be filled by autoincrements.

      • Maintenance Type: Select the appropriate type from the dropdown list.

      • Crew: Choose the assigned crew.

      • Assigned To: Assign the event to an individual or team.

      • Status: This field defaults to Pending (the default can be changed).

      • Priority: Set the event priority (such as 3).

      • Supervisor: Assign a supervisor if needed.

      • Work Order: Enter a related work order, if applicable.

    • Scheduling Information:

      • Planned Date: Select the intended date for the spray event (like 05/14/2025).

      • Actual Date: Leave blank unless the event has occurred.

      • Start Time/End Time: Optional; enter times if needed.

      • Duration: Select how long the event is expected to take in minutes.

    • Miscellaneous (Optional)

      • Note: Enter any relevant information or comments.

    • Enter Resources (Optional)

      • Click New under Time to add:

        • Date

        • User

        • Duration

        • Wage Code

        • Note

      • Click New under Material to add:

        • Component

        • Part

        • Unit Cost

        • Quantity

        • Cost

        • Note

  6. Click Next
    Next button in the event modal.

  7. Click Submit
    Submit button.

Mass Update

Important Notes:

  • Use filters to pre-select records before launching the Mass Update tool to ensure you are editing relevant items.

  • Fields left blank will remain unchanged

Mass Update enables shared attributes for multiple assets or events to be updated at once.

Instructions

  1. Filter and select a Query

  2. Click Query Actions
    Query Actions button in the Query tab.

  3. Click Mass Update
    Mass Update Query Action button.

  4. Select Asset or Event
    Asset and Event tabs in the Mass Update modal.

  5. Type into fields that need updating
    Mass Update text input fields.

  6. Click Save
    Save Mass Update button.

  7. Click Continue
    Continue button.
