This article will show you how to import Subscribers for a list in Notifications Admin as well as view and remove subscribers.

Import Subscribers

Import Requirements

  • Imported file must be of type .CSV.

  • Row one must include the label of the field

  • The file must include first name, last name, email address, and subscription type

  • View a template CSV file

  1. Navigate to your organization's Notifications Admin site (http://notifications.civicplus.com/[orgname]/admin)

  2. Click the Subscription Lists tab The Subscription Lists tab in the navigation menu.

  3. Select Actions and then Import Subscribers next to your desired listThe Actions menu next to a subscription list with Import Subscribers selected in the list.

  4. Drag and drop or click to add your CSV file to the Import box Upload subscribers by dragging a file into the designated area or clicking to add.

  5. Click Replace current subscribers to delete all current subscribers and replace them with your desired list; do not click this option if you only want to add or modify subscribers The Replace current subscribers checkbox on the Import Subscribers menu.

  6. Click UploadUpload CSV file to import subscribers with required fields and example file instructions.

  7. Subscribers will begin importing, and an Import Status message will display Import status indicates one subscriber was successfully imported with a completion message.

  8. Imported subscribers will receive a Welcome email for the subscription list


View Subscribers for a List

  1. Navigate to your organization's Notifications Admin site (http://notifications.civicplus.com/[orgname]/admin)

  2. Select the Subscription Lists tab The Subscription Lists tab in the navigation menu.

  3. Find the desired list and click Actions, and then SubscribersThe Actions menu next to a subscription list with Subscribers selected in the list.

  4. View the subscribers for the subscription list List of Help Center subscribers with subscription details and actions available.

    • First/Last Name: View the first and last name of the user

    • Email Address: The email address used to subscribe

    • Phone Number: View the phone number of the user

    • Type: The type of subscription the user has (Email, SMS, or Both)

    • Subscribed: The date they first subscribed

    • Suppressed: An icon for email, SMS, or both will show if the user has been added to the Suppression List

    • Verified: If the user account has been verified or not


Export Subscribers for a List

  1. Navigate to your organization's Notifications Admin site (http://notifications.civicplus.com/[orgname]/admin)

  2. Navigate to the Subscription Lists tab The Subscription Lists tab in the navigation menu.

  3. Select Actions and then Export Subscribers next to the list The Actions menu next to a subscription list with Email Subscribers selected in the list.

  4. Open the exported list file The exported file in your browser.


Remove Subscribers from a List

Subscribers can be unsubscribed individually from a list in Notifications Admin. If the user is subscribed to both email and SMS, they will be unsubscribed from both.

  1. Navigate to your organization's Notifications Admin site (http://notifications.civicplus.com/[orgname]/admin)

  2. Navigate to the Subscription Lists tab The Subscription Lists tab in the navigation menu.

  3. Click Actions and then Subscribers next to the desired list The Actions menu next to a subscription list with Subscribers selected in the list.

  4. Find the subscriber you want to remove and click Actions and Unsubscribe The Actions menu next to a subscriber with Unsubscribe selected in the list.

  5. Click OK on the pop-up prompt that says Are you sure you want to remove this subscriber?Confirmation dialog asking to unsubscribe a subscriber with a highlighted Ok option.
