Set a Default Workflow Status

Prev Next

This article will show you how to set a status as the default for a workflow.

Important Note

  • The Published status cannot be set as a default status for a workflow.

  • In the Default Workflow, Draft is the default status. This means that when you create a content item or asset and select Save, that item will be saved with a Draft status by default. If you create a custom workflow and specify a different default status, any content item or asset that the workflow applies to will be saved with that default status.
