Save and Manage Searches

The MuniPRO search feature allows users to search all codes within one state, multiple codes within one state, or all codes in the Code Library. MuniPRO users can save frequently used or complex searches for easy retrieval from their Dashboard. This article will show you how to save and manage searches.

Save a Search

  1. Log in/navigate to your Dashboard An example Online Code Hosting dashboard.

  2. Conduct a search using the Code Library Municipality Search or MuniPRO Search The Online Code Hosting search functionality.

  3. Navigate to the search results and apply any desired filters Example search results page.

  4. Click Save This Search The Save This Search button.

  5. Edit the name of your search, if desired The search name text box.

  6. Click Save The blue, rectangular Save button to the right of the search name text box.

    Note:

    Click Cancel to exit the save function.

  7. Your search has been saved Search saved confirmation messages.


View Your Saved Searches

  1. Log in/navigate to your Dashboard An example Online Code Hosting dashboard.

  2. Scroll down to the Recent Saved Searches section The Recent Saved Searches section.

  3. Select Manage The Manage button.

  4. View your Saved Searches The Manage your saved searches section.


Edit the Name of a Saved Search

  1. Log in/navigate to your Dashboard An example Online Code Hosting dashboard.

  2. Scroll down to the Recent Saved Searches section The Recent Saved Searches section.

  3. Select Manage manage button

  4. Select Edit (pencil and paper icon) next to the search you wish to edit The Edit button to the right of an example saved search.

  5. Edit the name of your search as desired update search name

  6. Click Save to confirm the change of your search name The Save button to the right of an updated saved search name.

    Note:

    Click Cancel to exit the edit function.

  7. The name of your search has been edited The Manage your saved searches section.


Change the Parameters of a Saved Search

  1. Log in/navigate to your Dashboard An example Online Code Hosting dashboard.

  2. Scroll down to the Recent Saved Searches section The Recent Saved Searches section.

  3. Click Manage The Manage button.

  4. Click the name of the search you wish to update to be taken to its search results page The name of an example saved search.

  5. Update the selected states, search type, document type, classification, and relevance, as desired Search options that can be updated for a saved search.

  6. Select Save This Search The Save This Search button.

  7. Edit the name of your search, if desired The search name text box.

  8. Click Save The blue, rectangular Save button to the right of the search name text box.

    Note:

    Click Cancel to exit the save search function.

  9. Navigate to the User Menu in the top-right corner of the screen The Online Code Hosting User Menu button.

  10. Select View Dashboard The View Dashboard option in the User Menu dropdown.

  11. Navigate to the Recent Saved Searches section The Recent Saved Searches section.

  12. Your updated search will appear as the first entry in the Recently Saved Searches list A new saved search in Recent Saved Searches list.

    Note:

    The original version of your search will remain in the Saved Searches list. You may have to click Manage to view it.


Delete a Saved Search

  1. Log in/navigate to your Dashboard An example Online Code Hosting dashboard.

  2. Scroll down to the Recent Saved Searches section The Recent Saved Searches section.

  3. Select Manage The Manage button.

  4. Select Delete (trash can icon) next to the search you wish to delete The Delete button to the right of an example saved search.

  5. Click Delete? to confirm the deletion The Delete? button which can be clicked to confirm the deletion.

    Note:

    Click Cancel to exit the search deletion function.

  6. Your search has been deleted The 'Manage your saved searches' section with no saved searches.
