De-Registering Your Terminals and Devices

This article will provide step-by-step instructions on how to de-register your terminals and devices in the Payments Portal after you have already registered them, whether you are needing to perform this action because of returning, replacing, or moving them to another Gateway Configuration.

Who can use this feature?

Only the Gateway Configuration Owner (single user) has access to register and de-register terminals at your organization. If you do not have the right permission to perform this action, please contact our team for assistance.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Payments Portal and log in with your credentials

  2. Click Gateway Configurations and locate the applicable gateway

  3. Navigate to the Actions menu and select the EMV Devices option

  4. Select the Actions menu next to the terminal(s) and click Delete
    Delete option in the actions menu next to a device.

Note:

If you wish to rename the terminal within the same Gateway Configuration or registering with another Gateway Configuration, then please wait 60 seconds after deleting and before attempting to register again.
