Manage Your Notifications in the Resident Portal

The Resident Portal Notifications tab allows you to manage email and SMS notifications from other CivicPlus products. You can also manage your notifications on the Resident Portal Dashboard.

Subscribe to Notifications

  1. Go to your organization's Resident Portal page

  2. Select the Alerts & Notifications tab Notifications tab in left navigation.

  3. If needed, use the Search bar to search for a notification list Search bar above notifications list.

  4. Use the toggle next to a list to subscribe to email/SMS notifications Subscribe toggles.

    Note: If you are not already logged in you will see a pop-up asking you to sign in or create an account to subscribe.Sign in or create an account button.

  5. The first time you subscribe to SMS notifications in Portal you will need to either select an existing Phone Number or Add a Phone NumberPhone number field on pop up window.

    • If you are adding a phone number, fill out the fields and click Save Changes Add Phone fields.

      • Supports: Check the boxes if the phone number allows text messages and/or voice calls

      • Phone Number Label (Optional): Edit the default label to describe the number, such as "Mobile Phone"

      • Phone Number: Add the 10-digit phone number (no dashes)

      • Default Phone Number: If you have more than one phone number associated with your account you can choose which number is the default

    • Select the number from the Phone Number drop-down and click SaveSave phone number.

      Note: This number will be used automatically when you subscribe to Notification lists in the future. You can click Manage Contact Information to update, as needed.Manage contact information button.

  6. A green confirmation bar will appear in the bottom right corner when you have successfully subscribed Confirmation bar that says 'You are now subscribed to Email notifications for [list name]'.

    Note: For Web Central Notify Me lists, you will also receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription.Portal Notifications Confirmation Email.

View Your Subscriptions

  1. Go to your organization's Resident Portal page

  2. Select the Alerts & Notifications tab Notifications tab in left navigation.

  3. Click the Filters icon Filters icon above the notifications list.

  4. Check the Show only my active subscriptions box Active subscriptions checkbox.

  5. View your subscriptions Subscriptions list.

Unsubscribe from Notifications

  1. Go to your organization's Resident Portal page

  2. Find Your Subscriptions

  3. Click the toggle button next to the list you want to unsubscribe from Toggle next to list name.

    Note: You can also use the Unsubscribe from All button to unsubscribe from all email and SMS notifications.Unsubscribe from all.

  4. A green confirmation bar will appear in the bottom right corner when you have successfully unsubscribed Confirmation bar that says 'You are now unsubscribed from [list name]'.
