CivicPlus Agent Voice Interaction
The CivicPlus Agent widget now supports basic voice interactions, enabling users to speak directly with agents through the widget interface.
What’s Included
Users can ask questions using voice input and receive spoken responses directly in the widget
Support for speech-to-text and text-to-speech processing
Voice interaction controls including:
Toggle the microphone on
Cancel interaction
Seamless fallback to text input
Automatic fallback to text-only interactions when voice functionality is unavailable or unsupported by the browser

Per-agent voice enablement through Admin-configurable feature toggles
Admin-facing reporting on voice interaction at the message level
Important Notes
Voice functionality availability may vary depending on browser support and device configuration.
Text interaction remains fully supported regardless of voice availability.
