Alerts & Notifications Tab Visibility
CivicPlus Portal Alerts & Notifications has been enhanced to provide a more intuitive experience for public users' subscription management. The Alerts & Notifications view is divided into three tabs:
Notifications: Non-emergency subscription lists.
Web Central (Notify Me)
Web Evolve (CivicPlus Notifications)
Web Open (CivicPlus Notifications)
Agenda and Meeting Management Select (CivicPlus Notifications)
Alerts: Emergency Alerts
Mass Notification (formerly CivicReady)
Weather Alerts: Weather Alerts
Mass Notification (formerly CivicReady)
Prior to this enhancement, all three tabs were always displayed regardless of the products/lists available for a single organization. Following the release, tab visibility will now be controlled by the presence of visible lists in Portal Administrator Settings. If an Organization does not have a particular product then the tab will not be displayed to public users. If an Organization chooses to Hide all available lists within a particular Tab category the tab will not be displayed to public users
We expect this enhancement will improve public users' ability to locate and manage subscriptions to relevant lists while reducing questions that may arise to organization staff addressing tabs that were previously displayed but did not have any lists available.
