The Pay Tray Application has its own logging but for Authorize.net, it too has additional logging that can be used.
The log file produced will be written to the root of the installation directory of the app. If you installed the tray app in the default location, you will find the log file under: C:\Program Files (x86)\CivicPlus\CpPay Tray App. The name of the file will be EMV_SDK_Logs.txt.
You do not have to turn on general logging to use Authorize.net logging. These two settings produce separate log files. However, it is beneficial to our support team to have both sets of log files, therefore, you may wish to use these two in tandem.
Important Notes
- In order to successfully log, your Windows user will need write access to the directory, or you will need to run the tray app with administrator privileges.
- You will need version 2.4.0.0 or higher in order to use this feature.
Instructions
- Right-click on the Pay Tray App icon in your Windows tray
- Select Settings
- Under Authorize.net EMV, change AuthorizeNetLoggingEnabled to True
- Click Save
