Item Snippets are reusable blocks of text that help users create agenda items more quickly and consistently. They can be used to insert common phrases, templates, and other frequently used content without retyping the same text each time. Item snippets also support most merge tags, which are populated when the agenda document is generated.
This article explains how to add, edit, reorder, and delete item snippets.

Important Notes
Most merge tags are supported in Item Snippets. However, Word Layout merge tags are not supported.
Merge tags inserted through an item snippet are populated when the agenda document is generated, not when the snippet is inserted into the agenda item.
Best Practice: Organize Item Snippets into Group Snippets to make them easier to find and manage. Keeping snippets organized and avoiding more snippets than necessary can improve usability. For more information about group snippets, view the Create and Manage Group Snippets article.
Create an Item Snippet
Sign in to your solution if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Settings option:

Click the Meetings tile:

Click the Text Snippets tile:

Navigate to the Item Snippets section:

Click the New Item Snippet button:

Fill in the Add New Item Snippet fields:

Snippet Name (required): Enter a name for the item snippet
Snippet Text: Enter the text of the item snippet
Note:
You can use the paragraph formatting and text formatting tools to format the display of the snippet text as desired:

Snippet Group: Select the snippet group you wish to assign the snippet to, if desired
Click a Create option:

Create Item Snippet: Save the new item snippet and return to the Text Snippets page
Create and Add New: Save the new item snippet and immediately begin creating a new one

Edit an Item Snippet
Sign in to your solution if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Settings option:

Click the Meetings tile:

Click the Text Snippets tile:

Navigate to the Item Snippets section:

Click the Edit tool (purple pencil icon) to the right of the item snippet you wish to edit:

Update the Edit Item Snippet fields as desired:

Snippet Name (required): Edit the name of the snippet, if desired
Snippet Text: Edit the content of the snippet text, if desired
Note:
You can use the paragraph formatting and text formatting tools to format the display of the snippet text as desired:

Snippet Group: Select the snippet group you wish to assign the snippet to, if desired
Click the Save Changes button:

The item snippet has been edited
Reorder Item Snippets
Sign in to your solution if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Settings option:

Click the Meetings tile:

Click the Text Snippets tile:

Navigate to the Item snippets section:

Click the Edit Order button:

Click and hold the grid icons to the left of the desired item snippets and drag and drop them into the preferred order:

Click the Save Changes button to save your preferred order:

The item snippets have been reordered
Delete an Item Snippet
Sign in to your solution if you have not already
Navigate to the User Menu, then click the Settings option:

Click the Meetings tile:

Click the Text Snippets tile under the Templates heading:

Navigate to the Item Snippets section:

Click the Delete button (red trash can icon) to the right of the item snippet you wish to delete:

Click the Delete Item Snippet button on the pop-up that appears to confirm the deletion:

The item snippet has been deleted
