Generate an Embed Code for a CivicPlus Media Live Stream

This article will show you how to generate an embed code for a CivicPlus Media live stream.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to the system if you have not already

  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option:The User Menu with the Settings option highlighted.

  3. Click the Events and Public Portal tile:The Events and Public Portal tile with a calendar icon.

  4. Click the Video tile:The Video tile with a play button icon.

  5. Navigate to the Embed Live Stream section:The Embed Live Stream section of the Video Settings page.

  6. Click the Live Streaming dropdown and select the live streaming channel you wish to embed:The Live Streaming dropdown with example live streaming channel options highlighted.

  7. Adjust the Player Width if necessary:The Player Width field with the current width displayed in pixels and up and down arrow buttons that can be clicked to change the number.

  8. Adjust the Player Height if necessary:The Player Height field with the current height displayed in pixels and up and down arrow buttons that can be clicked to change the number.

  9. Click the Copy Code button:A green, rectangular Copy Code button that can be clicked to copy the embed code to your compputer's clipboard.

  10. The embed code has been successfully copied, and you can now paste the code onto the webpage that you wish to embed the live stream:A green, rectangular Successfully copied to clipboard! message that appears after the Copy Code button has been clicked.
