Released Enhancements

Public Portal Link Added to Event Details Page

The Public Portal version of an event can now be quickly accessed from its Admin Portal Event Details page. This improves workflow efficiency and visibility.

The 'Event is Published' link on an example Event Details page.

Key Details

  • New Sidebar Link: The "Event is Published" text is now a clickable link. Clicking the link opens the associated event on the Public Portal.

  • Context-Aware Routing:

    • For CivicPlus Media-only sites, the link opens the event's Public Portal Files page.

    • For all other sites, the link opens the Public Portal Overview page.

  • Unpublished Events: If the event is not published, the text remains "Event is not Published." A link is not included.

  • Streamlined Navigation: Mirrors the behavior of the existing "Linked Agenda" field. This allows for consistency and quick access.

Improved Email Delivery Efficiency through Notifications

Email notifications are now sent to multiple recipients in a single request to the Notifications service. This improves performance. The clarity of message tracking in the Notifications Message History is also enhanced.

A white, rectangular Send button with a paper airplane icon which appears above the Sent section.

Key Details

  • Efficient Delivery: Instead of sending emails one by one, the system now sends recipient lists in a single request. Individual emails are still delivered to each recipient.

  • Clean Message History: Emails sent in a batch are now grouped in the Notifications Message History. This makes it easier to review and troubleshoot notifications.

  • Unsubscribe Links Excluded: These system-generated messages do not include "manage subscription" links. This preserves the correct template behavior.

  • No Change to Recipient Experience: Each recipient continues to receive personalized emails. Only their address appears in the "To" field.
